GREETINGS.

Well, I really don't know what to write here... this isn't that easy as I don't find myself that interesting. Well how about a brief picture of who I am to start?
My name is Sean and I am currently a System Administrator at a small biotech company in Montreal. I used to work as a guide writer for IGN. I am currently finished with school and would rather commit suicide than attempt to further my education yet again. I honestly would rather die than go back.
I have been a gamer since I moved in near to some friends who had consoles. My first games were on the NES, Atari and Commodore 64. My first RPG was Dragon Warrior (originally a mistake!) - I fell in love instantly. I am an avid Nintendo fan, but I don't take it as far as many other fans do. I refuse to play Super Smash Brothers Brawl.
All systems tend to get an equal chance with me. I love free-form PC games (yet still haven't played Oblivion...), large scale MMOs and traditional console RPGs. My current platforms of choice are the portable ones (easiest to play when on the road or at my gf's place). I have found a lot of time to play my games, as I have quit playing online RPGs (at least for the meantime).
Unlike a lot of RPGamers, I invest heavily in my computer equipment (look at my job and studies to see why!), and love to use it. It is pretty common to see me playing games on my PC at the same as on my PS2! In fact, I played the entirety of Dragon Quest VIII during rest breaks while playing Final Fantasy XI!
I love to share my opinions on games and other media. I am (usually) unbiased when it comes to new games and I try to find the good parts in an overall bad game. It takes a lot to turn me off of a game - I am really persistent at getting the games that I start finished. Even games like Beyond the Beyond had positive sides to them, even though I cannot remember what they are at this time. ^_^
I have played most major RPG series that haven been released, or at least a portion of them. I am a big fan of Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy, the D&D titles, the Tales games, as well the Shin Megami Tensei ones. My love for gaming does extend to other genres as well - I do love some fighters, and do purchase others as well to play with friends and family.
I was a once-time Q&A host, but lack of interest in the column on my part led me to resign my position to the ever-popular Lusipurr. Since then I have switched over to a more passive role here at RPGamer. I now write the occasional review which is good enough for me now.
Please send me an e-mail, if you wish me to update this page with anything that you might wish to know and I will try to update it from time to time.
