Ooh! Mysterious!

Well, let's see, I'm a hopeful novelist, tabletop RPG designer, hopeful video game designer, computer-science graduate, part-time philosopher, a bagel panner, and was your guy for tabletop gaming coverage and interaction until I became a ghost in the machine. In the past, I was only webmaster of a relatively short-lived site called "RPG Theory," which was essentially a place for editorials and articles about designing all sorts of RPGs. That is now a memory, however, but some of you just might remember it. At any rate, doing all this, I've become less of a gamer than I used to be, sadly, but my interest in computer, console, and tabletop gaming has never subsided, as neither have my grandiose dreams. Hopefully, in a year or two, you might actually be able to see the fruits of my labors, but until then, you can just stay breathless in anticipation! Well, maybe, maybe not; I can have my fantasies, can't I?
As for the more mundane portions of my life, well, I'm a third shifter and extremely nocturnal as a result. It's not terribly uncommon for me to go to sleep sometime after noon and wake up well after the sun has already set. So, don't worry if I don't understand words like "today," "tomorrow," "tonight," "morning," and the like; they just mean something entirely different to me. I'm currently in the process of designing two entire RPG realms (space sci-fi and sci-fi/fantasy, in case you're curious), along with multiple novels based in those realms. This consumes much of my time, unless my brain is being particularly flatulent that day, in which case I spend a great deal of time staring blankly at a flashing cursor. Yeah, it sounds boring, but actually, it's semi-relaxing, except when it's absolutely frustrating!
You're probably wondering about my strange aliases. Nwash (pronounced "Naush") is just my first name spelled mostly backwards, but it is a nickname I have held for many years, so it has gained a certain sentimental value. At some point, I also became the emoticon o_O, but you don't have to call me the emoticon formerly known as Nwash.
