Crazy or not crazy - that is the question Crazy or not crazy - that is the question

So I suppose you finally found your way to this page and have been shocked to see, right before your eyes. I am now here. I was once everywhere and not that many people could find me on the Net. In a way, I feel like I'm Shadow, the assasin from FFVI that comes and goes like the wind. A lot of you may remember me, some of you don't, which is fine by me. Since I've joined the staff, I'm sure people are going to be curious to know me and how I function, so here's a little bit of a lowdown about me.

My name is Mete Tanyeri, aka Metamania. I used that name for the last ten years to get me by on the Internet, have done extensive work for Gamespot as a volunteer reader reviewer and was even on their first guest column. Since then, I was also formerly a moderator over at Gamespot and at Gamers.com websites as well (moved on because the show had to go on). Finally, even though it was a volunteer job, I was also the news editor for Gameaddicts.Net, which has been shut down a long time ago. Since then, I've been pretty much staying low and doing what I do to keep myself going. Within the last ten years or so, I've always visited RPGamer.com and, as a long-time viewer, I've seen the changes they've made to their site and kept on coming back for anything new on RPGs. The job opportunity came up and I applied. Thus, the rest is history!

As far as interests are concerned, I love to play videogames. Its a passion of mine that will simply never die. If you're asking about favorite RPGs, Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy IV are the two RPGs I've played and enjoyed immensly and will always have a special place in me. Besides RPGs, I have a love for everything else except for sports and strategy games - they just aren't my thing. The Shannara series are my favorite fiction series to read, done by my favorite author, Terry Brooks. Finally, I love to watch movies, but I am not a TV fanatic. I only watch it for the news and C.S.I. Miami. Beyond that, TV is not good for me. Of course, I can't help it if I see a re-run of an old show I enjoyed back when I was a kid, but that's very rare to find, except on Youtube or something like that!

All in all, I have a great life going on and I'm glad about the way things turned out for me, good or bad. Life is a experience that is shaped by both positive and negative things, so its all about taking in the good with the bad and keep a high head on your shoulders! Ad That's all I gotta say, but I do hope you enjoy the work I provide on RPGamer.com! If you have any further questions in regards to anything else you wish to know about me, just contact me at the email address below and I'll get back to when I can!
