   Hi. My name you can see above, but I prefer Hyetal. The odds of you meeting me in a situation where my legal name takes precedent, such as a bank transaction, are slim. I also answer to Hy-tan, if your fancy runs that way.

   Well, I should say something about myself. I have strived, for twenty-six years, to live the simplest, most boring possible life imaginable. Then RPGamer posted a, um, post looking for new recruits, so I figured what the heck. I like to write, and I am obsessed with my sweet, precious games, so it seemed like the way to go. Next step: US Senate.

   I love my RPGs, but sometimes I drive myself ballistic trying to decide what to play. There's all these new releases, coupled with a lot of old games I haven't gotten around to finishing, and also hasn't it been several years since I played Final Fantasy VII? Yes, I think that one deserves to be loved once again. Oh, decisions, decisions...!

   When indecision gets the best of me, I give up and read another Discworld novel yet again. I've nearly got them all memorized by now. Sometimes I mix it up with Asimov, Card, Lem, or good ol' DNA. Or maybe I try working on my own RPG in RPG Maker XP, where I tear down the fourth wall, feed it to goats, put the goats on a ship, put the ship on a rocket and send it into a rapidly degrading orbit around Saturn... er... sorry, I seem to have lost my place.

   And in my world, every month is National Novel Writing Month.
