Where to begin a summation of life? I grew up in
California near the bay area, my area was technically called the "east bay"
but we nay saw any lick of ocean water. Ever. I've played the
games since I
was about four, I'd say, and it has been an intricate part of my life since
then. I've gone through about 10 or 11 systems in total with some
doubling up every so often. Between my two brothers and I, I'd say 20
in total. Had an inkling to become a game collector once.. when I was
eight. Had a collection of NES games numbering close to 200.
But that was a long time ago.. long tiiime... so let's jettison to the present! (I
like presents)
I attend California State University at Monterey Bay
where I have the unique opportunity to create my own major in their
integrated studies program. I was a Human Communication major for
about two months (basically a humanities major), when I realized they did
not have the emphasis I wanted anymore. So now, my major is all
technical and made-up, and only I can have it - think of all forms of
writing (news, script, play, teleplay, creative, poetic, prosaic) and
literary analysis, and those are all my classes. Which is awesome.
I work at the school, grading math papers for a remedial class (yeah...).
And also, I work at the local community college tutoring high school kids
in a college readiness program. Combine the two together and the
hours are great and I get paid well for a college student.
In my spare time, generally, I am grading papers,
writing for school, writing personally, listen to music on floor speakers
and an AKAI receiver from 1976, reading for school, or playing games.
Currently, I am MMORPGing it up with Star Wars: Galaxies and I might kick
it up a notch and jam over to FFXI when my next checks clear. Who
knows?!
