Elusive as the faerie dragon, this RPGamer staffer's
identity is a closely guarded secret! His eyes burned with a smoldering heat,
Twin flames forged
In dual battlefields of love and war,
Fiery reminders of foes he had slain
And women he had bedded.

Trained as a machinist and a writer, I now work as the personal assistant to the owner of a company. My evenings are spent gaming in my apartment (when annoying creatures known as "friends" leave me alone, that is), which I do keep relatively clean, at least by guy standards. I happen to live on the bank of a rather large river; in the summer and early fall, you can often find me out on the river in my kayak.

Politically, I'm a Libertarian. When asked if I am a Christian, I typically respond that I am a fan of the teachings of Jesus Christ, but not so much a fan of his followers. I am primarily carnivorous. I prefer winter over summer. Caffeine, cats, and new books make me happy.

Kingdom Hearts is, without a doubt, my favorite RPG series. Both KH and KH2 reduced me to tears multiple times (yes, I'm manly enough to cry). I also like old-school RPGs; Final Fantasy III DS saw a lot of love from me, and I'll be playing through it again this year. I so love anything with a job system.

I got out of gaming during my college years due to a busy schedule, but the DS and other next-gen systems helped me fall in love all over again. Aside from RPGs, I play games like Elite Beat Agents, any Mario platformer, Viva Pinata, and Guitar Hero.

Music: You should definitely give the Danielson Famile a listen, especially "Cutest Lil' Dragon." If classical is more your thing, Hayley Westenra is amazing. Modest Mouse, Death Cab for Cutie, Cat Power, My Chemical Romance, Blue October, and Imogen Heap top my list of favorite bands. Favorite track from a video game? "Simple and Clean" by Hikaru, from the first Kingdom Hearts.
