Er...right. Let's start over. My name is Jeff, better known in some circles as "Shack." Recent achiever of the quarter-century mark, and still not out of college. *sigh* At any rate, as of this writing I'm a junior at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, working towards a major in print journalism with a certification in Asian Studies. That's one reason why I'm here--an opportunity to garner experience working in a field of great interest to me. I've been a fan and a follower of console RPGs almost as long as they've been in existence, since the days of the original Dragon Warrior and Phantasy Star (earlier, if you want to count the utter debacle that was Swordquest...but let's not, shall we?).

Anway. Beyond RPGs, I'm probably one of the most voracious readers you'll ever come across. Fan fiction, combining two of my favorite things as it does, is a major obses--er, hobby!--and over the years I've carved out a small niche for myself in the field. That, along with games and school, takes up the bulk of my time, though I've managed to cultivate a small anime addiction (and a larger anime fanfic addiction) as well.
