I wanna Rock!

   So, long story, but basically I'm here because of FFXI. I can truly say that Final Fantasy changed my life. ;) Seek me out in #rpgamer and I'll tell you how. But yeah, I've been coming to RPGamer for years and now I have a chance to give back behind the scenes by making sure all those gears and what not that give you the gaming news you so desire stay in good condition.

   For some background: I graduated in Computer Engineering from Iowa State University (Go Cyclones!) and had the good fortune of ending up in Madison, WI where they have the like the only Bratfest I know of. I'm Christian, and...oh yeah! I own two cats, Simon and Sophe, and if you come see me on IRC, you'll hear me constantly comment on how insane they are. I also like anime and most other things RPG players like.

   The first RPG I played was the Legend of Zelda (if you classify it as an RPG) oh so many years ago. I then got to go through the first Final Fantasy. After that I was RPGless for several years until the wonderful Final Fantasy VI was gifted to me. *drools* I've been hooked ever since.

   Oh, video game music's another great passion of mine. Nobuo's score in Final Fantasy VI is one of the best musical works of the century in my opinion. Then you have Mitsuda, Kikuta, and so many more. What's not to love?
