As the great Ethan Carver said in The World is not Enough, "The only difference between insanity and genius... is success!" At the moment, most of my Grandiose Plans have ended up as decidedly insane. Good thing I have more in the works. ^.^ Top on the list is earning oodles of money through translating games and manga. I really hope it works.

   More mundane plans that've panned out are that 4 years of college thing, I got a BA in Asian Studies for it, and a two year stint in southern Japan, which netted me Level 2 of the Japanese Language Proficiency Exam. That basically means I play games and read comics entirely in Japanese, without really needing a dictionary. Well... except for XenoSaga. I need a dictionary for that one.

   At the moment, Real Life involves fan-translating Trigun Maximum and Full Metal Alchemist, doing chores around the farm, maintaining my blackbelt in karate, and hunting for a Real Job. That last one isn't going so fast. Oh! And I'm perusing Japan's end of the Web for juicy news and info in the gaming industry. Yoroshiku!!
