If you find the following confusing, it's alright. It is supposed to be. But can you figure out the contest I invented while half-asleep during a storm? If so, you must be more insane than I am...
Basically, the contest works as follows: People win stuff. How? I am not saying. All I will say is that more clues might appear on this page from time to time. Or not as they need to be purchased. Who can tell if a winner will unlock a clue instead of taking a prize?
When a prize condition is discovered, it will be listed below. A prize can only be claimed once. Prizes can be chosen from the list on the right.
Prizes will be added and unhidden as other prizes are won. Win conditions will be added and removed on a day-to-day basis, so try not to miss out!
I will ship out prizes once every two to three weeks, so please be patient.
As of 24/9/2007, I will no longer give credit for multiple-postings on a single day that arise from me just cleaning out the mail accounts. If I need the letters to meet my quota, they will still count as normal.
I changed the prizes around a bit. Some older games I marked as being half a prize. That means you can pick two!
And now for some clues...
Clue 1: Think of this as Star Ocean 3 trophies.
Clue 2: A letter to just me is worth more than a regular qna-mail.
Clue 3: If there is scoring, points are given as of the condition being added to the win condition list. There will be no re-evaluations of previous columns.
Clue 4: It is easier to be posted, if I see it is a quickie. Labeling it as such or giving it an interesting subject will make it stand out more and be read earlier.
Clue 5: The order that I choose letters is not predetermined. I pull from my personal inbox first, then when I run out, I hit the communal qna box. Interesting subjects will be picked first.
Clue 6: Sparking a debate is a good thing. A really good thing. As in a LARGE good thing.
Clue 7: Some prize conditions can be repeated... but not that often.
Clue 8: Sometimes I will give out a prize for telling me something I want to hear. What do I want to hear? The clues are in the columns! Column names, hidden text, letter titles... etc.
