a) While playing online about four years ago, a nice-guy Cleric named Tom stopped to help me out randomly. The rest is history.
b) I got so incredibly sick of playing Blitzball that I started avoiding him. Eventually, our friendship trailed off, and now, I haven't talked to the guy in four years.
c) After months of dedicated playing, the game just ceased to function. It was incredibly sad.
d) When the big day came, and I went out to try and snag my very own Mew, I got into a minor fender-bender on the way, completely ruining my chance.
e) Despite the long day, I accidentally got on the wrong bus and wound up on the other side of Los Angeles.
