Ooh, aren't you all just WONDERING what happened today? I know I am, so I'm not going to hesitate to jump into today's submissions. One thing: Everybody, make sure you read the daily tips, because while most of you are doing well and following along, a few people are missing some things that I've iterated several times, and sounding like a broken record isn't high on my priority list.
Today's Tips:
- If you gained a level yesterday or anytime in the future, be sure to let me know of your job-level choice! Just pick one of the available jobs to level up (for instance, White Mage, Black Mage, Defender, and Fighter are available to everybody from the start.) If you level up in a different job than the one you started on, don't worry... you retain all past abilities at all times.
- APGs, AEGs, and AGGs are accessories and thus, like any other accessories, must be equipped to have any effect. I won't be sending out reminder e-mails anymore, asking if you want things equipped, so be forewarned!
- Equipping/unequipping stuff doesn't cost you your turn. You can equip one weapon, one armor, and one accessory in total, and you have room to HOLD five additional items.
- APGs, AEGs, and AGGs give you bonus points, experience, and gold once per day in an amount equal to the consolation points (today, that would be 6). You don't have to write monster letters to get the bonus, either. A quickie will do, if that's all you're in the mood for!
- Spending points to get a benchmark item does not cost you your turn! Thus, you could have an action like "I want to spend 50 points on a Wizard's Rod, equip it, and cast Fire on EvilENEMY-C!"
