I think I'm going to make it a habit of putting a few important reminders up here every single day, just to keep everybody on the same page. Good? Today's pointers:

• Yes, I'm going to try and be consistent in my posting-times; they'll likely go up between 6 and 9 pm every single day, Eastern Standard Time. This is really the only time that I can conveniently get it up, so I'm sorry for any inconvenience this causes you.
• The rare benchmark items are never detailed, which makes them a bit risky to invest in. Just about every rare benchmark item IS very handy in the right hands, though. You must spend your points on a benchmark before the next benchmark becomes available, though!
• Yeah, only the final hit gives experience, I'm afraid. I thought about this for a long time, and decided that this would be the least messy way of doing things; I don't know how I'd keep track of everybody that's ever helped 'contribute' to an enemy's defeat, and then there would be issues with "well, I didn't do any damage but I put it to sleep!" or "that dude shouldn't get the same Exp as me! I did 5x as much damage!" This way is simpler, but don't worry; if you join a guild one day, you'll be able to cooperate with others and share experience. There aren't any guilds yet, but there might be soon!
• Unless you entered with the knowledge of another competitor's e-mail address, NO FRIENDLY MESSAGES ARE PERMITTED!! (Ha ha ha, doesn't that sound evil?) If you're in a guild later on, you'll be able to friendly-talk to anyone you like, though.
• It says "guess(es)" besides each answer because with Haste status or other means, you could guess multiple times on each question!
• Keep an eye on your points, and make sure the scoring is right. I'm only human, and I WILL make mistakes, inevitably.

Anybody caught cheating in this manner will be immediately removed from the competition!
