I understand you aren't a big fan of mmorpg's, which is fine, but a lot of your conceptions about them really don't apply to FFXI. True, the game is addictive, but in my beta experience, there were plenty of intelligent, friendly people who enjoyed the game for more than just mindless leveling. The game really is as deep and story driven as any other FF, just a lot longer. I know i'm probably not going to convince you to buy it, and that's not my goal, but you might want to check it out. I never liked MMORPGs before this one either, so I understand where you are coming from. anyways, that's all.

That conflicts with the opinions of everyone else I've heard chime in on the matter... unless of course
you suggest that the other FF games are nearly completely devoid of plot at least.
Of course, aside from the whole completely lack of interest factor, you still have to consider that
I lack the cash for the game, a computer that could run it, and the cash for the monthly fees, so I'm
a lost cause here.

You noticed I assume that that url is .jp and thus full of Japanese characters your browser isn't set
to display I assume. The only real reason that got posted is that I just can't sit idley by when someone
links me to a picture containing stuffed
animal versions of Cthulu and Noonsa. I mean, that's on the level of seeing Mr. T fighting Megatron.
Oh, and don't go sending in the links. I think everyone's already seen that page.
