In Pokémon 3, they finally got around to putting in a run button.
This makes it so much more playable it's not even funny.

Must have energy...
|
Hey, all this talk about the Sega Saturn has caused
me to pull mine out of storage and check out some old
classics. Unfortunately, I have found that for some
reason my Saturn no longer retains my saved games
after I turn the power off. Is there anyway to fix
this without having to look all over creation for a
seperate memory card? By the way, have you noticed
how insanely high rare Saturn games are selling on
eBay. Both Panzer Dragoon Saga and Dragon Force are
really high price items. I saw a guy get Panzer
Dragoon Saga for $170.
Thanks,
WingXero
P.S. Why aren't more people in Xenosaga asking
questions about chaos? I mean, come on, he dusts that
gnosis by touching it, is wise beyond his (apparent)
years, and he doesn't even start his name with a
capital letter for crying out loud.

Googleshng:
I just pointed that chaos bit out yesterday myself. Anyway though, in the back of the Saturn is a hatch.
Open it, and you'll see what looks like a giant watch battery. Take it out, get a replacement at Radio
Shack, and you should be good to go.

There are secrets where fairies don't live.
|
One of the elderly characters in Wind Waker states concerning fairies, that he "used to put them in empty bottles and play with them." Am I the only one that finds this disturbing? In fact, if you think about it, corking a fairy up in a bottle is fairly disturbing also.

I've always found eating fairies to heal yourself rather creepy, but hey, so's eating hearts when you
think about it.

hey Google
I was just wondering what is the difference between pokemon ruby and sapphire is? it seems like the same game to me but then again im not a pokemon fan.

Googleshng:
They are the same game. The only real difference is that out of the 200 or so Pokémon you can get
in one version, 5 or so aren't in the other one. There's a few other differences too, but they're more
or less cosmetic.

Musicalness
|
Hey G,
I was just wondering if you have had the chance to listen to any of the music from Final Fantasy X-2 yet? More specific, the battle music?
What do you think about it? I know Uematsu (or at least I think) didn't do the music on this game. I've had the chance so far to listen to the battle music, boss battle music, and the LeBlanc battle music. I'm not really sure what I think about either right now.
Rpg battle music is a big thing for me, why, I don't know. But it is.
My opinion, is that FFX-2's battle music is way to laid back and sort of, for better lack of a term, groovy. When I saw how fast paced the battles were in various promotional videos, they all went to the tune of Real Emotion, which is much more fast paced, and the battles really looked excitiing to me. Just wondering your opinion on the actual battle music if you've heard it (you can get it on Kazaa).
Oddly enough, before I even heard about Final Fantasy X-2, I was watching Cutey Honey and Final Fantasy Unlimited. I thought, wow, you know, if you combined the two and threw in a Final Fantasy V quality to it, that might make an ok anime.
It's not an anime, but Yuna seems to remind me a lot of Lara Croft and Kisaragi Honey now.
Thanks
Stevie
Ps. Rikku looks like Christina Aqu-whatevah now, but did anyone else notice she looked a lot like Dharma (from Dharma and Greg) in the first X game? At least in the face?

Googleshng:
As a general rule of thumb, if a game hasn't been released, I haven't heard the soundtrack. Congratulations
on getting the Cutey Honey themesong stuck in my head though. CURSE YOU ADV PREVIEWS!
