Two months is a pretty long time to wait for Q&A huh? Q&A is what brought me back to RPGamer day after day in the years past. That's why I'm back to answer your questions. I used to work here as a remixer in Sound Test, then was the curator for a year or so before moving to content and eventually resigning to focus on some real life stuff. I guess I have some time now to answer some of your lousy questions, so ask away.

Hey, is there any way to find out what game the quote at the top of the page is from?

A long time ago when people weren't asking these typically stupid questions, readers would guess what the quote was and the if they guessed it right, would get the the coveted tilde.
This one happens to be from Rhapsody DS. I wish I could tell you I came up with that by being a master gamer, but we have these nifty archives that are updated when the title is.

There's a game for the PlayStation 1 that has a talking sword in it and you're a stow-away on a giant dragon-like airship and monsters get onboard and take it over. It looks like a clone of final fantasy, after you get off the dragon-shaped aircraft you are in a snow forest and you wake up in a local cabin in the middle of the snow forest, then you have to find a 14 year old girl and then find a small village and you cannot go past this piont with out a passport. Can you please help us figure out what the name was??

The game you're looking for is Tales of Destiny for PS1. I'm impressed with the detail in which you're able to describe the opening few hours of the game. However, I'm less impressed with your ability to compare games. I suppose the game would be like Final Fantasy, in that both TOD and FF have characters that talk, special abilities, and save points. It's a good question though, and a great refresher for those of us that are able to go back and replay this gem. Thanks for your letter.

| IN CLOSING |
So. Where do we stand? I need your letters and I need them NOW! I'd love to update this daily, but right now it's looking like you should check in every Saturday or Sunday morning. What kind of questions should you ask? Well that's simple, any questions really. Ask me anything, and I'm sure to come up with a dry sarcastic response, and maybe I'll actually look up the answer to your question too. Don't know what an interrobang is? Ask me! Don't remember which member of SOLDIER Cloud thought he was? Ask away. Can't remember the first playable Final Fantasy character who dies? Stuck on a boss? Don't remember who wrote the music to that which who song there?
The bottom line is I need your questions ASAP. Did I mention you should send questions yet? Yeah let's see some questions! Until next week, keep your nose clean. If you're extra good, I'll try to spruce this place up for you while you're gone. In the meantime, I'm going to try to work my way through Final Fantasy Tactics A2. What do you think of that game? Too much of a departure from its prequel? Do you absolutely love gaining experience after battle? Tell me about it.
Have a good week.
