In reference to the comments on January 19, 2003, there is an RPG in development using that idea. Sudeki being developed for Xbox is more of an action-RPG, where regular attacks are real time, but bringing up the menu to use items or abilities only slows time down dramatically. Thus you can take your time, but don't go too damn slow or you'll still get killed. | Sounds pretty sweet. Menu browsing is now a nail-biting race against the clock! Can our hero chug a red potion faster then that sword can slice through his neck?! |
